The Little Flower
A plant used in Ayurvedic medicine, from the ginger family, identified as bitter, hot and pungent. It has been used for *digestive upset, dementia, incontinence, and to alleviate pain, including rheumatic pain. It is also used to treat respiratory problems, and acceptable for treating children with mucous membrane inflammation. Studies have shown antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
