Soap Nuts (Organic)

Soap Nuts (Organic)

Sapindus marginatus

Soap nuts derive from the fruits of the Sapindus genus, found throughout the world in warmer climates. The surfactant properties natural to the saponins in soap nuts led to the regular traditional use of soap nuts for washing clothes and also, for dying silk. 4-6 soap nuts in a small cloth bag can be used in place of laundry detergent.
