The Little Flower
In the ancient herbal traditions Rosemary was used for *strengthening the memory and relieving headaches. Medical traditions in the U.S., prior to the emergence of the modern pharmaceutical industry, also valued rosemary as a diuretic and to treat menstrual problems.
In Chinese traditions it is categorized as acrid, aromatic, and warm, and used dissipate cold, dispel phlegm and move qi. It is used to *stimulate circulation, help resolve unclear thinking, assist with effective communication, relieve mental or emotional disorders, improve memory, and gently lift the mood. It is also useful for digestive upsets.
